Bachelor Geosciences (Petroleum Geology)

In Partnership with Fort Hays State University.

Our Geosciences program, specializing in Petroleum Geology, in partnership with Fort Hays State University, prepares you for a career in exploring and managing natural fuel reserves. Petroleum geologists focus on identifying and evaluating reserves of combustible fuels, both on land and at sea.

Utilizing advanced technologies such as satellite imagery and sonar devices, you'll learn to locate and analyze these reserves. Key aspects of petroleum geology include understanding the origin and quantity of fuel in geological formations, assessing its maturity and concentration, studying its movement underground, and addressing factors that influence extraction.

This program equips you with the skills needed to navigate the complexities of fuel reserves and contribute to the energy sector with expertise in geological and technological methods.
